The Face of Hunting Holistic
Welcome! I’m Kristen, A Registered Holistic Nutritionist, and new MOM who specializes in gut health and the gluten free diet. I started my journey to holistic health in 2011 when I received my Celiac diagnosis. After receiving my diagnosis I thought that I was through the worst of it. Little did I know, it would take me years and many specialists to figure out why even after eliminating gluten I was still experiencing symptoms like bloating, adult acne and developing more and more food sensitivities. Over the years I have compiled the knowledge and tools needed to overcome gut health issues, make gluten-free cooking fun and create meals that taste delicious.
As a part of my most recent health journey, I was introduced to the world of hunting through my husband. I believe that when it comes to your health, there is nothing more important than knowing where your food comes from. Never in a million years would I have ever guessed I would become a hunter. I have come to appreciate wildlife, their habitat and my health more than ever before because of it. This was the birth of HUNTING HOLISTIC CO. Hunting holistic is not just about food for our health, it's also about the realization that nature is a large part of our mental and physical wellbeing -This was a large missing puzzle piece in my healing journey. I believe my hunting practices completely align with my health goals, not one that everyone will agree with or want to practice themselves, but I hope in sharing my stories that you come to appreciate this way of life and understand my WHY.
